Purpose: Artificial intelligence (AI)-based chatbots are increasingly utilised to educate patients, inform decision-making and reduce anxiety. This study evaluates the accuracy, completeness, conciseness, clarity and physician-rated quality of an oncology chatbot’s responses to commonly asked questions by head and neck cancer patients undergoing curative radiotherapy.
