Dr. Alexandra Savelieva is a Principal Applied Research Scientist in CHISE team with the focus studying impacts of agentic AI tools for software engineering. Alexandra’s prior research includes development and optimization of RAG systems, analysis and optimization of networking configurations, capacity management, site reliability engineering, and other areas.  Since 2022 Alexandra has served as a co-lead of Microsoft AI/ML Connected Community co-lead since 2022 (25k+ members). She is a regular contributor of conferences and workshops on AI and data processing in the cloud, such as Microsoft FabCon, KDD, UC Berkeley Cloud Computing Meetup, BlueHat, etc.) and a leading author on two Microsoft patents. PhD in Computer Science, MSc in Data Science and Software Engineering Management, educator, and watercolor artist.
