Jonathan McLean

Senior Software Developer at Microsoft Research on the Catalyst Lab (CatLab) Agentic Data Memory team. His work focuses on helping researchers turn their ideas into production-ready systems. He currently works on graph-structured retrieval and memory for AI agents including GraphRAG based retrieval, and RAG evaluation with BenchmarkQED.

Prior to joining Microsoft Research Jonathan was a Software Engineer at Applied Technical Systems Inc where he worked on several projects for the US Army specializing in text analysis and distributed processing.
