About
I am a Researcher at Microsoft Research India, where I am part of the ReFoRM team led by Dr. Manik Varma. My work lies at the intersection of information retrieval and large-scale machine learning, with a focus on designing efficient, scalable, and accurate methods for training dual-encoder models.
Before joining Microsoft Research, I completed my PhD at IIT Bombay, where I explored problems in causal inference and algorithmic recourse. I also hold a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Prior to my current role, I gained industry research experience at IBM Research, Adobe Research, and Samsung, working on a range of applied machine learning and software development problems.
