Fueling the Future: FAPESP
Microsoft Research is committed to investing in the future of computer science research through its Joint Research Center program as illustrated through the story of the Microsoft Research – FAPESP Joint Research center.
Joint research centers offer a location where dedicated researchers can collaborate openly and are free to make an impact with other researchers. The FAPESP Institute for IT Research is based in São Paulo, Brazil. Its research is currently focused on the environment through work with the e-Phenology project. The project is jointly funded by Microsoft Research and FAPESP (the São Paulo Research Foundation).
